As the name suggests, the pension is built on a hilltop in the Kisokoma Plateau overlooking the Chuo Alps. Meals are served in the restaurant with a wood-burning stove, and all the dishes are exquisite, using plenty of local ingredients such as Shinshu salmon and Shinshu beef.
