Kurumaya Honten

This long-established soba restaurant is popular for its handmade soba made from homemade buckwheat flour. The thick handmade buckwheat noodles are smooth on the tongue and go very well with the finely textured "tororo" (grated yam). The restaurant is also famous for its menu items such as "Ten-nuki" (tempura soba without buckwheat noodles) and "Tori-nanban soba without buckwheat noodles", which some locals order as a snack with their drinks. For delivery, special meals, and reservations, please contact us in advance. The restaurant will close when all soba is sold out.
